How do I fix a coffee table?
I broke my roommate's grandmother's coffee table and I need to fix it before she comes home. The bottom shelf broke in the seam of a panel, so it isn't split. Can I just wood glue it and nail it back together?
You can use some good wood glue (no more than a few dollars) you'll need something to keep pressure upon it like heavy books or a vice, if there's any missing chunks, substitute some brown paper or cardboard to fill it. Finally, if it looks out of the ordinary, use a similarly colored matker or crayon to hide it better.
